Outdoor Education

Our main mission is outdoor education and recreation for youth, but we’re happy to share our land and knowledge with kids of all ages!  Check out these education opportunites…

  • Maple Syrup Tours (late February and March) – Learn the science and history of maple syrup production.  Tour the sugar bush and the sugar shack.  Taste both sap and finished Sinawa syrup.
  • Spring Wildflower Walk (April and early May) – Walk through the woods and learn to identify spring ephemerals.
  • Fall Color Hikes (September and October) – Walk through the woods and learn why leaves change color.
  • Nature Scavenger Hunts (Year round) – A hands on activity to introduce the flora, fauna and geology of Camp Sinawa.

All of our programs can be tailored for the age, size, interests and abilities of your group.
