Our main mission is outdoor education and recreation for youth, but we’re happy to share our land and knowledge with kids of all ages! Check out these education opportunites…
- Maple Syrup Tours (late February and March) – Learn the science and history of maple syrup production. Tour the sugar bush and the sugar shack. Taste both sap and finished Sinawa syrup.
- Spring Wildflower Walk (April and early May) – Walk through the woods and learn to identify spring ephemerals.
- Fall Color Hikes (September and October) – Walk through the woods and learn why leaves change color.
- Nature Scavenger Hunts (Year round) – A hands on activity to introduce the flora, fauna and geology of Camp Sinawa.
All of our programs can be tailored for the age, size, interests and abilities of your group.
